Based at Bellerby, Nr Leyburn, in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, David Ward continues to undertake all manner of joinery contracts, both large and small, within the Wensleydale area and beyond.  Having undertaken a full joinery apprenticeship, beginning in 1982 with local building contractor ‘Raymond Hewitson’, David was employed by the same prestigious company for almost twenty-three years. When Ray Hewitson finally retired in 2005, Dave decided that the time was right to start his own joinery business and continue the same high standard of workmanship.

Since then, having spent a number of years operating from his original workshop located at Manor Farm industrial estate in Bellerby, David recently moved into a larger, fully equipped building at the same site in order to satisfy the demands of his ever-growing customer base. With an in-house spraying unit, suitable for paint/stain factory-finish applications as well as full glass cutting facilities, this fantastic new workshop has allowed David to continue expanding his well-established joinery and glazing business.

With over thirty years experience, David has gained a broad knowledge of local construction styles and methods. His meticulous attention to detail and profound work ethic places him in a great position to work closely with clients from the initial planning stage through to completion of the job: all the time maintaining a total commitment to customer satisfaction.
